Kappa Alpha Theta

Theta Kappa Chapter University of Louisville

Chapter History

Kappa Alpha Theta established the Theta Kappa chapter at the University of Louisville on November 9, 2014. Theta Kappa joins the Fraternity roster as the 178th chapter since Kappa Alpha Theta's founding in 1870. Since our establishment, we have raised over $20,000 for our philanthropy, CASA, won numerous Fraternity Sorority Life awards including Outstanding Risk Prevention and Chapter President of the Year (2018). In 2018, our chapter raised over $25,000 for raiseRED, UofL's largest student ran philanthropic organization, dedicated to raising money for pediatric cancer and blood disorder research.

At just under 120 members, Theta Kappa has women involved in many campus organizations including Student Government Association, Student Activities Board, Engage Lead Serve Board, Student Orientation Staff, College Mentors for Kids, Love Your Melon, Cardinal Guide, raiseRED, and so much more! We pride ourselves on campus involvement and dedication to sisterhood.
